Marmato Complex - Aris Mining Corporation

The historic Marmato Narrow Vein Zone (formerly referred to as Upper Mine) uses small scale, labour intensive mining methods and is currently producing approximately 20,000 – 25,000 ounces of gold per year.

An expansion project is underway with the construction of the new Lower Mine to access wider porphyry mineralization below the Upper Mine. The expansion started in Q3 2023 and includes a new portal and decline, dedicated processing facility and the use of efficient mechanized mining methods.

An expansion project is underway with the construction of the new Bulk Mining Zone (formerly referred to as Lower Mine) to access the porphyry hosted mesothermal gold deposit below the Narrow Vein Mining Zone. The expansion started in Q3 2023 and includes a new portal and decline, dedicated 5,000 tpd carbon-in-pulp (CIP) processing facility and the use of efficient mechanized mining methods.

Alongside the Marmato expansion project, we are also expanding our Contract Mining Partners (CMP) business model at the Narrow Vein Mining Zone and its ~1,000 tpd flotation plant.

With the completion of these expansions, the combined Narrow Vein and Bulk Mining Zones have the potential to produce over 200,000 ounces of gold per year.

The Marmato Bulk Mining Zone is expected to start ramping up production in H2 2026.
